THE EVENT
WoolOn has become a regular feature on the Central Otago
Events Calendar and now attracts entries from all over New Zealand as well as overseas. A matinee show as well as the Gala evening event sees over 500 in attendance with growth year on year.
Just over an hour’s drive from Queenstown, picturesque Alexandra hosts the event. The Central Otago region’s landscape supplying the perfect backdrop with its connection to wool production and innovation.
All garments entered must be 75% wool with nine competitive categories with awards given out on the night by a panel of expert judges.
